1952 Chevy shortbed 22k Original Miles, daily driver survivor, no rot!

Another fine truck out of Del Mar, North County San Diego with an amazing history. Please read on:
Notes from Seller:
Bought last year out of Royalston Massachusetts population 1200 on 2020. It was bought new to be their city truck and volunteer fire department utility truck. The prior owner grew up there and his family lived there 5 generations. He was the mayor several times and fire chief. Like all our vehicles, there is no rot or cancer, just small areas of surface rust and patina as the truck was always maintained and stored inside the city warehouse. Once you see it in person, hear it run and drive it, you’ll understand what and why this truck is so rare and such a time capsule.

It’ll blow your mind when you hear the 22k original miles, perfectly running 235 Thrift master straight 6. 3 on the tree manual transmission that shifts perfect, new brakes, tires, newly rebuilt original carb, full tune up and valve adjustment, new heater core, new fuel sending unit. Floors are solid zero rust, with dynamat under original rubber floor mat. New white oak bed with stainless runners. Interior is all original and intact. All glass is original, no crack, windows roll up and down with ease.

The rain gutters, floors, corners and bed are excellent. It was green out of the factory, then painted red for the volunteer fire dept. You can still see the faint outlines of the white lettering on the doors in the right light. They painted over them when they took it out of service…

This is a rare original, complete truck that you’ll likely not see another one this well-preserved, that also drives better than any old truck I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned and still own several! I’m a collector that is thinning his herd because of space and moving onto bigger, better toys.

Asking Price: US$ 22.000
